On-device data

Focus Cat stores session tasks, planned and actual durations, timestamps, outcomes, reflections, companion progress, active timer state and preferences on your device. These records support the timer and Journey pages. No account or cloud history sync is provided.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app. In Settings, finish an active session before clearing history. Clearing history removes sessions, reflections and companion progress; preferences remain. Removing the app may remove local data.

Optional notifications

If you enable session reminders, iOS asks for notification permission. You can change this in iOS Settings; declining it does not prevent using the timer. Reminders are scheduled on your device. Focus Cat does not require camera, microphone, photo-library, contacts or location access for its timer.

Apple and RevenueCat

When production purchases are configured, Apple processes payment and RevenueCat processes purchase and customer entitlement information to provide Pro access and restoration. Local reflections and focus history are not sent as part of the implemented purchase flow. No analytics or tracking SDK is included in this site.

Website requests

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, request times and browser information to deliver pages and protect its network. Cloudflare may process this information internationally and retain it under its own privacy policy and applicable obligations. We do not add advertising cookies, analytics SDKs or contact forms.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any details you choose to send. We use them to answer requests, investigate problems and meet applicable legal obligations. We retain correspondence only as long as needed for those purposes, including resolving disputes. Your email provider also processes delivery. Please avoid sensitive information.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, or object to or restrict its processing. Contact us using the address below; we may verify the request proportionately. Local focus records stay on your device and cannot be retrieved or remotely erased by us; use the app’s history-clearing controls. Purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat follow their policies and legal retention duties.

Children and changes

If you are not legally able to agree to these terms independently, use the service with appropriate parent or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law. Contact us with concerns. We update the date on this page when the policy changes and provide a prominent website or in-app notice for material changes where required.

Send the app version, iOS version, device model and steps to reproduce the issue. Do not send private reflections, purchase receipts, passwords or codes.
